We are pleased to announce the November exhibit Changing Landscape: New Work by Patrick Mauk. An opening reception will be held Friday, November 4, from 6 to 9 p.m and light refreshments will be served. The exhibit runs through November 27.

The exhibit features paintings and works on paper exploring light, color, shape and shadow within dramatically lit landscapes. In creating the mood, Mauk composes organically while emphasizing mark-making and simplification of form through expressive treatment of the media.

Patrick works at the Dayton Visual Arts Center (DVAC) as the Gallery Manager. A native of Wapakoneta, Ohio, he is a graduate of Wright State University and holds a master’s degree of fine arts from the University of Cincinnati.
