Dayton Ohio, November 2, 2018- Dutoit Gallery presents Ashley Jude Jonas’s solo exhibition it’s likely in front of you. The exhibition will feature new sculptural, photographic and two dimensional works that reframe potential and wonder in the context of the everyday. An opening reception will take place November 2 from 6-9 at Dutoit Gallery, which is located in Front Street Warehouse, 1001 E 2nd St on the third floor of building 100 in Dayton Ohio. it’s likely in front of you will run from November 2- 25.

Ashley Jude Jonas is an artist, writer, curator and educator originally from Key West, Florida. She received her BFA in ceramics from the University of Florida and went on to earn her MFA in ceramics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Ashley has exhibited her work at regionally and nationally recognized institutions including The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, Regis West Gallery at University of Minnesota, The Carbondale Clay Center and has been an artist in residence at Kansas State University and Project 1612 in Peoria, IL. She co-directs and curates for the Blue House Arts in Dayton, OH, which she founded with her partner in 2014. Ashley holds a lecturer position of Fine Arts Foundations at the University of Dayton, while she maintains her studio and writing practices.
